Air check _ Ex LEL Gas Monitoring System

Air check Ex LEL Gas Monitoring System
  • Designed for Combustible Gases
  • Explosion-proof enclosure
  • Non-Intrusive one-man calibration
  • Long Life LEL catalytic sensor
  • Local back lit digital display
  • 4-20 mA analog output
  • Optional dual level adjustable alarm relays

The Air check _ Ex is a compact gas monitoring system that’s ideal for continuously monitoring combustible gases in hazardous areas. The Air check _ Ex non-intrusive calibration allows sensor calibration in hazardous areas without area declassification. The only tool required is a small magnetic wand, designed to be carried on a technician’s key chain. Built-in holograph switches allow true one-man calibration, which significantly reduces the labor and downtime commonly associated with gas detector maintenance and service.

The instrument’s fault supervision circuitry continuously monitors for failed sensor cell and communication line breaks. Plus sensor cell operation is continuously supervised 24-7 and when used in conjunction with distributive control systems or PLC’s, provides immediate fault identification for a disconnected sensor cell.

The Air check _ Ex is housed in a Nema 4 explosion proof enclosure and is available for methane, hydrogen, and other combustible gases. Capable of monitoring the LEL of many combustible gases, the Air check _ Ex is a perfect monitoring solution for providing worker protection in chemical plants, refineries and other areas requiring hazardous classifications.

Self-Supervised Operation

The PureAire Air check _ Ex incorporates sophisticated electronics which, when used in conjunction with distributive control systems or PLC’s enable you to quickly identify and correct major system faults. These enhanced self-diagnostic capabilities include missing cell and broken transmitter wiring. Should a system error occur, the Air check _ Ex outputs a specific mA signal to remote alarm/control systems to immediately alert control room personnel.
