The PureAire Hydrogen Selenide Gas Detector is a compact gas monitor that’s ideal for protecting workers from hydrogen selenide gas exposure in the workplace. It consists of a transmitter/controller connected to a dedicated, renewable gas sensor that automatically inputs the gas and measurement range. Designed as a stand-alone monitor, the Hydrogen Selenide Gas Detector can also be connected to any programmable logic controller or SCADA system. PureAire also manufactures toxic gas detectors with a remote sensor.
The heart of the Hydrogen Selenide Gas Detector system is a smart, renewable sensor cell programmed with hydrogen selenide gas and measurement range information. When servicing the sensors, they can be recharged with fresh electrolyte and dynamically gas-calibrated in the maintenance shop away from the transmitter.
Maximize Safety, Minimize Costs
The PureAire Hydrogen Selenide Gas Detector offers industry-leading low annual operating costs, making it the smart choice for long-term gas monitoring. Unlike costly disposable sensor systems, PureAire’s renewable hydrogen selenide sensors can be easily recharged with electrolyte in the field, cutting replacement costs by up to 80%. With routine maintenance supplies averaging just $70 per year, you’ll enjoy significant savings—hundreds of dollars annually—without compromising on performance.
Plug-and-Play, Stand-Alone Monitoring
Forget complicated setups. The Hydrogen Selenide Gas Detector is designed for simple, independent operation. Mount it near your hazard zone, plug it into any standard 115VAC 60 Hz or 220VAC 50 Hz outlet, and start monitoring. Its integrated horn and bright LED alarm indicators provide immediate alerts in case of dangerous gas levels. Plus, built-in alarm and fault relays enable easy integration with remote alarm systems or automated controls, and the 4–20mA analog output ensures continuous data flow to your SCADA or PLC systems.
24/7 Supervised Smart Technology
Equipped with continuously supervised smart electronics, this detector ensures round-the-clock protection. In the event of a system error, it instantly signals the control room via analog output and fault relay. A dedicated microcontroller in the sensor allows for off-unit calibration and maintenance, saving time and simplifying upkeep. Calibration data is automatically synced to the transmitter once reconnected, keeping your safety systems seamlessly in check.
