An extremely sensitive monitoring system for the detection and measurement of fluorine (F2) is available from PureAire Monitoring Systems. Ideal for monitoring scrubbers, exhaust stacks, process areas, and other locations where fluorine may be present, the PureAire Fluorine Monitoring System measures concentrations as low as 50 PPB, yet will not react to hydrogen or alcohol-based cleaning solvents such as IPA. Moreover, the system’s low-level measurement accuracy is unaffected by changes in ambient temperature or humidity.

The system consists of a renewable, highly selective self-checking electrochemical sensor and companion transmitter linked to an optional control panel. It is available in many measurement ranges (0 to 1 ppm, 0 to 3 ppm, 0 to 9ppm and 0 to 30 ppm) and may be equipped with or without a local readout. For installation versatility, the signal from the transmitter may be routed directly to alarm, control, or facility-wide surveillance systems.
